First scrapbook

I made a scrapbook as a gift for Nanay it took me the whole day to finish it. Too bad I did not able to take the photo of finish craft because I was having so much fun that I even forgot the time. Luckily at exactly 6p.m. , 3 hours before Nanay's flight it's already done...Almost, because I still have to put captions on it but Nanay said "It's Ok" and that I look tired and need to take a rest :-). Anyway, I did still manage to take some photos while I'm just about to start.

Miss Hathaway's Garden

I'm planning to start this new project in cross stitch, it's Miss Hathaway's Garden. It's a 14 fabric count in a 30 by 21 inch cut fabric. If I find time to start it on the first week of May hopefully I can finish this at the end of August for a four month target timeplan I'm planning to set for myself :-).

I fall inlove with this design the first time i saw it.

Events

I've been busy for the preparation of the major events in the family for the first four months of this year. The christening, the 7th birthday and the 75th birthday. Among the preparation I've done was the layouting of the invitations as well as the tarpouline. It was learning process for me on the technical side when I printed it out. When working with photographs pixels is everything, it will determine whether the output is of high or low in quality.

Here are some of the design I did.

Invitations are printed out on 3R size photo.

And the banners are all printed out in a 36x24 white canvas

Framed Cross Stitch

Cross-stitching is one of my many creative needle works, and I love to share the images of my framed finish craft. These are done when I was still in college others are during my first pregnancy. Did I mention who inspires me to try this kind of craft? The 'Lopez Tres Marias' :-). Our boarder Breezy, April and Chen. They're the one who patiently thought me to this kind of stuff. Well thanks to you guys! And these are the fruits to what you've done...

(done in a 1/2 yard, 14 count skyblue fabric)

(1/4 yard, 14 count white fabric)

(1/8 yard and me as reflection :-), in a 14 count black fabric)
